"Get in, get out, go get a coffee" Toby Üpson's approach to arts journalism.
This limited edition t-shirt features an image of Art Basel | Basel 2025's floor plan. Annotated by Üpson, this map shows the route he took through the fair, the galleries he stopped at and those he ghosted in order to get in and out and to turn around something of a '19 to see' all before a coffee. Further, at a time when the rhetoric around the purpose of arts criticism is mounting, the map, especially when read alongside Üpson's article, provides a visual commentary on which 'leading galleries' are really leading the way when it comes to contemporary visual art.
